Top 7 budget Android phones;
Looking for a new mobile but don't want to spend a lot of money? In this article we tell you which are the best cheap phones on the market such as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T, the Oppo A9 or the Honor 10 Lite
---------------------------------------------------------------
Although there are smartphones on the market that exceed 1000 euros in cost, you should know that it is not necessary to spend so much to get a good device these days.
Currently you can find several companies, such as Honor, Xiaomi or Motorola that also dedicate part of their time to manufacturing quality devices at low cost. Obviously, these devices will have some shortcomings compared to their high-end siblings.
However, you know that each user has different requirements when it comes to getting a new mobile phone. Not everyone will need 12GB of RAM or a million megapixel cameras. So if you need a device that meets the basic functions of a smartphone, for which you do not have to pay more than 200 euros, you are in the right place.

We have personally tested and rated the best budget phones from brands like Nokia, Motorola, or Honor (among others) to help you decide if a cheap phone is really the bargain it appears to be or hides a downside behind its low price.
In our experience, the best way to get a cheap phone is to buy it without a SIM card, that is, at once. You will not have to pay € 50 every month until you pay it in full (as you do with a € 1,000 smartphone), and you can get a newer model when you want.
All phones in this article cost less than € 300, this is almost up to a quarter less than you would pay for a flagship. (You can take a look at this other article to know what are the best high-end mobiles this year).
And if you can afford to spend a little more money, you may be interested in reading our article in which we collect the best mid-range mobiles, these are halfway between the high-end and those that we collect in this article.

1. Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T
$169,99
To all this is added NFC and 18W of load. You will not find a mobile with better value for money anywhere else.
2. Oppo A9 2020
£219.99 (around $285)
The Oppo A9 2020 is an inexpensive phone that manages to excel in multiple areas - with an attractive design, a 48 MP quad camera and a huge 5000mAh battery that beats even some of the most expensive phones on the market.
It is not without its flaws, of course. Although the battery life is excellent, it does not have fast charge. Although the camera's night mode is stellar, the user experience of taking photos needs to be refined to be simpler and cleaner.
For the price, however, you are getting a very good smartphone with a good camera and excellent battery life. For these reasons, we would definitely say that the Oppo A9 2020 is also a good option.
3. Xiaomi Redmi Note 7
$190
The Redmi Note 7 is a mid-range smartphone with a very affordable price, thus offering an almost unbeatable value for money.
It looks more like never before than the high-end Mi from Xiaomi, with a magnificent all-glass design and an impressive 48Mp dual camera with a lens.
It has a large screen and a battery that lasts all day, we love that it includes a headphone jack and the Redmi Note 7 IR blaster, compatibility to use two SIM cards and being able to expand the memory with a microSD.
Considering its price and great design, it doesn't hurt as much that it has no NFC, wireless charging, or water resistance.
Overall performance is decent, with other Snapdragon 660 phones costing around 350, and even Xiaomi's own Mi 9 SE, making it an excellent purchase option.

4. Oppo A5 2020
£179.00
The Oppo A5 2020 is another recommended option: a mobile with an affordable price that does not sacrifice much despite the reduction in its price.
With a massive 5000mAh battery, a sleek exterior design, and a big screen, you'll find it hard to believe it's priced at less than 200 euros.
Of course, the quad camera isn't up to par with its rivals, with just a 12MP primary lens and limited options, especially when you're trying to take photos in low light. However, at this price commitments are expected, and these falls do not detract from what is a powerful entry phone.
5. Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite
Aprrox $200
You won't find a cheap Android smartphone better than this.
Storage is generous, and we like the fact that you can beef up 64GB of internal space with microSD cards up to 256GB in capacity without sacrificing dual SIM support. A great purchase, for very little money
6. Honor 10 Lite
$200
Honor has done it again: with the 10 Lite it brings us one of the best cheap smartphones you can buy. For just over € 200 you'll get the best battery life for a phone in its price range, a large screen and dual cameras.
Although the cameras are not very optimal in low light, the phone's performance is excellent. Along with the phones in the Moto G range, it ranks as one of the best cheap phones in the world.
7. Motorola One Macro
$169.99
The Motorola One Macro has shown once again that you don't have to spend hundreds of euros to get a good smartphone.
The display, battery life, and speakers are a pleasant surprise, while the undeniable shortcomings in camera performance shouldn't be a drag at this price.
But the highlight is undoubtedly the software. Although it only works with Android 9 Pie, it is a version of the software that we know and love.
Motorola's main additions come in the form of subtle visual tweaks and smart Moto actions, but both enhance the experience rather than remove it.
While other phones at this price point might outperform the One Macro on the spec sheet, it's hard to beat if Android is your thing
